    Bishop Wordsworth’s School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business and Economics to join 
    our high performing and collaborative department on a part time basis. This post has arisen to support a job share 
    arrangement and offers an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher seeking a flexible working pattern. 

    This role would suit an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their practice within a 
    supportive, ambitious environment, while benefiting from a reduced timetable. 

    Business and Economics are popular and successful subjects within the school, particularly at Key Stage 5.

    Bishop Wordsworth’s School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our high-performing and collaborative department.     Bishop Wordsworth’s School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, reflective and intellectually curious Head of 
    History to lead and further develop our History department. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom 
    practitioner and academic leader to shape the direction of the subject within a high-performing grammar school 
    environment where scholarship, curiosity and high standards are central to the School's ethos. 


    We are looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice and the ability to inspire 
    highly able and motivated students across Key Stages 3 to 5. The successful candidate will provide clear leadership 
    for a team of 4 historians, bringing consistency and coherence to teaching, curriculum delivery and assessment 
    across the department. They will be expected to articulate a clear curricular vision for History at Bishop Wordsworth’s 
    School and to lead the ongoing development of engaging, rigorous and intellectually ambitious teaching. 


    The role includes oversight of curriculum development, enrichment opportunities and departmental quality assurance, 
    alongside a significant proportion of A Level teaching. We are therefore seeking a candidate with the academic depth, 
    organisational clarity and leadership skills to invigorate the department and promote a culture of high expectations, 
    reflective practice and continual improvement. 


    History remains an important part of the curriculum at Bishop Wordsworth’s School, with students who are thoughtful, 
    articulate and capable of engaging with challenging historical concepts and debate. The department works closely 
    with our Politics provision, with several colleagues teaching across both subjects, creating valuable opportunities for 
    collaboration, academic discussion and curricular alignment at Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will work with a

    Trips & Events Administrator

    • The post will be with effect from May 2026

    Are you a highly skilled and dynamic individual with administrative excellence, strong ICT skills, a proactive 
    attitude, a knack for problem solving and looking for a term time role? If so, we have the perfect opportunity 
    for you. 


    The role involves overseeing of the administration behind all trips and events, from the initial bookings, 
    costings, trip letters, payment collection and overseeing the Evolve trip system. This is a challenging role which 
    greatly contributes to the efficient and smooth operation of the school. 


    The ideal candidate will possess strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, adeptness 
    in data manipulation and the ability to quickly learn and navigate our in-house ICT systems. 


    Problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under 
    pressure in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and a detail-orientated approach are all qualities we are
