As well as announcing this year’s winner, the author Julian Sedgwick (winner of the SSBA 25) talked to the pupils about his books and where he finds his inspiration to write. The main themes were about hope and recovery from adversity, and how we can build resilience through the use of creative imagination and storytelling – a real treat for all involved.​
